In an debut at the UIL Mariachi Festival in El Paso last weekend, the Legacy High School mariachi band, known as Mariachi Revolución, achieved a perfect score of "1" from every judge during their performance on Saturday, Jan. 27.

Midland College welcomes new Starbucks outlet with discounts for students and staff

Midland College opened a new Starbucks location on their campus, located in the Marie Hall Academic Building, Room 217 (second floor). To celebrate the opening, students enrolled at Midland College are eligible for a 10 percent discount, while faculty and staff receive a 25 percent discount on all drinks.

The council gave its approval for the acceptance of this donation during its meeting in December.
