DOL approves MISD as Registered Apprenticeship Program sponsor

On Aug. 25, the Midland Independent School District (MISD) announced that the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) has approved it to sponsor a Registered Apprenticeship Program for teachers. The new initiative will help the school district recruit educators, MISD said in a press release.


NYC-based clothing company donates 5,000 pairs of socks to Crisis Center of West Texas

New York City-based clothing brand Bombas has given the Crisis Center of West Texas (CCWTX) a donation of 5,000 Socks to distribute to those in need. The CCWTX joins Bomba's network of more than 3,500 charitable partners.


New MISD policy allows students to keep digital learning devices
