Cornyn urges Biden to approve disaster declarations for storm-hit Texas counties

The Midland Chamber announced that organizers behind the 61st Annual Children's Parade are searching for participants. The parade will take place on the morning of the Fourth of July at Centennial Park, 200 W. Wall St.

Midland Animal Services (MAS) has entered into a partnership with Petco Love Lost. The collaboration aims to assist residents in reporting, searching, and sharing information about lost and found pets, thereby simplifying the search process and increasing the chances of reuniting pets with their owners.


MFD puts out residential fire, blaze displaces family

The Midland Fire Department (MFD) responded to a residence on fire in the 2000 block of Jadewood Drive on the evening of May 30. The family residing in the house sustained no injuries but was displaced by the blaze, according to MFD.
