The Midland Chamber announced that organizers behind the 61st Annual Children's Parade are searching for participants. The parade will take place on the morning of the Fourth of July at Centennial Park, 200 W. Wall St.
According to a May 30 Facebook post shared by the chamber, children can ride their decorated bikes, march in costume, or show off their patriotic spirit.
Parents can complete a form available at https://shorturl.at/LCUiz.
Anyone who completes the form before the day of the parade is allowed to skip the registration line.
According to the form, there will be a check-in/information tent at Centennial Park where participants can collect a commemorative American flag. Flags will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
The form added that children will join the parade line based on age groups. Parents with multiple children participating are encouraged to participate in the group with the largest representation. If the representation is equal, parents can choose which age group to join.
