Midland Animal Services (MAS) has entered into a partnership with Petco Love Lost. The collaboration aims to assist residents in reporting, searching, and sharing information about lost and found pets, thereby simplifying the search process and increasing the chances of reuniting pets with their owners.
According to a May 30 press release issued by the city of Midland, MAS has included links on its website where residents can report their lost and found pets.
Meanwhile, Petco Love Lost is now integrated with the Nextdoor app, thus expanding the city's reach within the community.
Petco Love Lost is a nationwide non-profit organization that promotes itself as an easy way to search over 165,000 lost and found pets to help them return home. According to its website, it was established in 1999 and has been responsible for more than 28,000 pet reunions.
MAS operates from its location at 1200 N. Fairgrounds Rd., with operational hours from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
