Midland College hosts global experts for rotating equipment technologies seminar

Midland College is preparing to host a seminar on rotating equipment technologies, featuring internationally recognized experts. The event will take place on March 4 and 5 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Advanced Technology Center in Midland, Texas.

The seminar will feature Roman Megela Gazdova, a Senior Reliability Engineer at Easy-Laser AB, and Christopher Greene, a Technical Trainer at LUDECA, INC. Gazdova brings over two decades of experience with gas compression systems across various continents and industries. Greene specializes in predictive maintenance and reliability techniques.

Erick Gutierrez, Department Chair of Applied Technology at Midland College, stated: “This seminar showcases the kind of industry collaboration that sets Midland College apart.” He emphasized the importance of keeping students and industry partners updated with technological advancements.

The event includes an exclusive session for Midland College students on March 4 and an open seminar for industry leaders on March 5. Attendees will also have the chance to tour the Advanced Technology Center.
