Midland College has inducted 42 new members into the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society. The ceremony took place on February 24, recognizing students for their academic achievements and community service efforts.

Dr. Terry Gilmour, Advisor and Division 1 Coordinator for Phi Theta Kappa, expressed pride in the students' accomplishments: "We are proud to celebrate these students and their dedication to academic excellence. Earning membership in Phi Theta Kappa is a significant achievement, and we look forward to seeing how these students continue to lead and serve both on campus and in the community."

Phi Theta Kappa is a renowned honor society that acknowledges the academic success of two-year college students globally. It offers its members opportunities for leadership development and recognition beyond academics.

The recent induction highlights Midland College's commitment to promoting student success, academic excellence, leadership, and community involvement. The college's chapter of PTK is among 97 in Texas and has maintained a 5-Star status for six consecutive years.
