The Midland RockHounds have announced the temporary closure of their team store at Momentum Bank Ballpark until the home season opener on April 4 against the Arkansas Travelers.
According to a February 7 Facebook post, the Double-A Minor League Baseball (MiLB) affiliate of the Athletics is preparing the store for the 2025 campaign. While the physical store remains closed, online shopping continues to be available. Customers can opt for shipping or pickup at the ballclub’s main office by the ticket windows.
Pickup services are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The RockHounds also reminded fans to check their Facebook and Instagram stories for "Merch Monday," when new items are featured every Monday until the season begins.
The upcoming 2025 season will mark the franchise's 53rd year. According to a previous team-issued press release, Midland achieved an all-time franchise record of 84 games and won the Texas League’s South Division in 2024. The opening game against Arkansas will be notable as it will be the first time in seven years that the RockHounds start their season at home.
