The Legacy High School Dolls dance team recently demonstrated their abilities at the American Dance/Drill National competition held at the University of North Texas.

According to a Facebook post by Midland Independent School District (ISD), "The team earned a sweepstakes award for scoring a division one rating in every category they entered. Several solo dancers made it to the finals, and the trio earned the National Award." The post further said, "Overall, the Dolls earned 3rd in their division. The team is led by Senior Captain Piper Thompson '25 and Senior Lieutenant Rebecca Rodello '25. Congrats to all!"

A Facebook page dedicated to the drill team announced that they are preparing to bid farewell to 25 seniors as they welcome the 2025-26 Dolls team at their spring show on Friday, April 25. Interested parties can visit the Dolls' social media page to purchase tickets.

The team is also seeking contributions from the community for its silent auction. "Nothing is too small and this will help keep assessment costs down for our girls," LHS Dolls wrote in a Facebook post. Businesses are encouraged to buy ads for the upcoming show to assist with expenses, with a submission deadline of April 7.
