Inclement weather led to a doubleheader between the Midland RockHounds and the Arkansas Travelers on April 6. The RockHounds emerged victorious in the first game but were defeated in the second.
According to the RockHounds website, the makeup game for the postponed April 5 contest resulted in a 9-0 loss for Midland, who failed to score any runs. Right fielder Henry Bolte was responsible for two of Midland's four hits during this game.
Before this makeup game, the RockHounds secured a win in Sunday's scheduled matchup with a score of 6-4. As reported by the game's scoring summary, similar to their season-opening 7-5 victory on April 4, Midland overcame an early deficit against the Travelers. In the bottom of the second inning, trailing 3-0, shortstop Euribiel Angeles initiated a five-run rally with an RBI hit. Contributions from right fielder Brayan Buelvas and third baseman Luke Mann, each with RBI doubles, propelled Midland to a 5-3 lead.
Angeles scored again in the fourth inning after Arkansas starting pitcher Dylan File made a throwing error. The RockHounds ultimately won this game 6-4, with starting pitcher Luis Morales earning credit for the win. Their next home series is scheduled against the Corpus Christi Hooks from April 15 to 19.
