Legacy High School's football program continues to make strides as another player, wide receiver Aiden Serrano, commits to the University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB). Serrano was welcomed to his new school on National Signing Day, joining Rebels defensive lineman Terry Ojopagogo, who also signed with UTPB.
In a post on X, Serrano expressed his excitement by stating, "Oh it’s that time." He included an orange heart symbolizing the school colors and shared a tweet from the school welcoming him: "Welcome to the #FAMILLY Aiden Serrano | WR | Midland, TX | @AidenSerrano8 #NSD25."
The Midland Times reported that Serrano had received offers from Angelo State University and Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
According to MaxPreps, Serrano concluded his senior season with impressive statistics: 53 receptions for 942 yards and 14 touchdowns. Additionally, he carried the ball 55 times for 373 yards and scored another 11 touchdowns. He is also a member of the Rebels varsity baseball team.
February 5 marks National Signing Day for the Class of 2025, as noted by ESPN. Uncommitted players have until February 7 to finalize their scholarships with schools.
