In this edition of "Adoptable Pet of the Week," introduced are two companions waiting for their “fur-ever” homes at the Midland Humane Coalition, Dante and Shiloh.

Dante is a 1-year-old male Pitbull mix weighing 55 pounds and was discovered wandering the streets of Midland. A compassionate local rescuer provided him with food and care until he found refuge at the Midland Humane Coalition. Described as sweet and cuddly, Dante adores water play and is ready to join a family eager for new adventures. Despite a rough start, Dante is eager to bring joy and companionship to his future home.

Shiloh is a 3-year-old female Pitbull Mix and was found abandoned in a hotel bathroom before being rescued. Weighing approximately 60-65 pounds, Shiloh boasts a tricolor coat with brownish-grey hues and white accents. Despite her past, Shiloh exudes a friendly demeanor towards people and appears to get along well with other dogs. While she loves giving hugs and is affectionate, her high energy may be overwhelming for some pets. Shiloh is currently working on leash training and has shown no reactivity towards cats during her time at Midland Humane Coalition.

If you're considering adopting a pet, think about welcoming Dante or Shiloh into your home. Visit the Midland Humane Coalition to meet these two companions and explore the possibility of giving them a loving home.
