Lee graduate and Texas A&M senior Charlye Campbell is now a diving champion after winning the women’s three-meter at the Southeastern Conference Diving Championships, according to MRT News.

Campbell won with a score of 376.45 and became the first Texas A&M women’s diver to win the SEC title since the Aggies joined the conference for the 2012-13 season. Her score is the third all-time best in Aggie history for a six-dive performance on the three-meter springboard.

A two-time All-American, Campbell also qualified for the NCAA Division I Zone D Meet in both the one-meter and three-meter.

“I am a third-generation Aggie," Campbell said on her Texas A&M Women's Swimming and Diving profile. "Growing up, Texas A&M was my dream school, but I did not know if diving here would be an option. When I got recruited it was dream come true and now I get to study and represent this university that was always my childhood dream.”

The Aggies had a strong showing at the event. The runner-up in second place was Campbell’s teammate and fellow Aggie Aimee Wilson with a score of 372.90.
