The Midland City Council has sanctioned significant personnel adjustments within the City Attorney’s Office. John Ohnemiller is set to assume the post of Special Counsel for the City of Midland. Meanwhile, Nicholas Toulet-Crump has been designated as the Interim City Attorney. In addition to these appointments, the Council has empowered the mayor to engage in negotiations and finalize employment contracts for these roles.
In the framework of city governance, the City Attorney holds one of the five roles appointed directly by the Council. The other positions include the City Governance Officer, City Manager, Presiding Judge, and Associate Judge.
