Willowbrook Funeral Home & Cremation is set to undergo a $185,000 repair after sustaining damage from a car collision.

According to a filing with a state regulatory agency, the repairs will include minor electrical work, framing the roof to increase its pitch, installing a metal roof, minor drywall repairs, and painting. The project will cover 7,000 square feet of space.

The filing indicates that the project is named Willowbrook Funeral Home & Cremation Insurance Claim. On December 17, a Ford Mustang collided with the building, causing damage. The driver was not seriously injured but received treatment at the hospital. The facility is located at 1311 W Florida Street. The renovation began on February 6 and is expected to be completed by June 16.

Sparky Clark, the owner of the funeral home, is overseeing the renovation project. According to his LinkedIn profile, Clark has been operating the funeral home since May 2020.
