The Midland High School Lady Bulldogs secured a victory in their bi-district playoff game against Eastlake High School.

According to a Facebook post by Midland High Girls Soccer, "Vamooss!!!!! Back to Back Bi-District Champions!!! Came to El Paso to play a very talented Eastlake and won 2-0." Adeline Hahn scored both goals, assisted by Hannah Johnson, with the post referring to them as "the dynamic duo once again."

The Lady Bulldogs' defense was effective, shutting out the Eastlake Lady Falcons. MaxPreps reports that "Midland has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6-2 record this season." The team will now face Keller Central in the area round of playoffs, scheduled for March 24.

In February, Johnson signed with Newman University in Kansas to continue her soccer career at the collegiate level. She is currently in her sophomore year of high school.
