West Texas FC (WTXFC) has announced the return of goalkeeper Santiago Nebot through a Facebook post.

Nebot, originally from Valencia, Spain, is currently attending and playing for Keiser University in Florida. According to WTXFC, he possesses one of the most impressive resumes among National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) players at present.

The club highlighted Nebot’s collegiate achievements, which include four NAIA Defensive Player of the Week selections, three consecutive All-Sun Conference Team appearances, and winning the 2021 NAIA national championship.

WTXFC head coach Scotty Murray expressed his enthusiasm for Nebot's return. "Santi is coming off the back of an incredible season at Keiser," Murray said. "We all know what he’s capable of in it and I’m excited to see him back and ready to go in West Texas FC colors."

According to WTXFC, the team will be entering its third season in 2025. It will begin the campaign on May 17 with an away game against the Fort Worth Vaqueros and will have its home opener against Oklahoma United FC at Astound Broadband Stadium on May 25.
