Midland College (MC) and the University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB) are collaborating once again for a half-day education conference.

According to a Facebook post by MC, the "Birds of a Feather Soaring Together in Education" conference is scheduled for Saturday, March 29, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Midland College. "Faculty from both institutions will present on a variety of education topics. This free event includes breakfast, and we encourage you to share it with educators and parents who may be interested," wrote MC.

The conference will feature presentations by faculty from UTPB and MC. It will take place at the PreK Academy and Center for Teaching and Excellence, located at 3600 North Garfield Street, as said on the registration website. Both schools' pre-service and in-service teachers seeking to enhance their skills in working with students on various topics are encouraged to attend, along with parents within the Permian Basin.

"As part of our commitment to collaboration and student success, Midland College is proud to partner with UTPB to support education in the Permian Basin," wrote MC in a Facebook post. "We look forward to an inspiring and informative event!"
