Structure fire leaves one person with burns

The Midland Fire Department (MFD) responded to a structure fire in the 3100 block of South County Road 1220 during the early morning hours of March 9, as reported in a Facebook post.

According to the fire department, firefighters found the structure fully engulfed in flames upon their arrival at approximately 1:48 a.m. The incident resulted in the displacement of two individuals, MFD reported.

One individual sustained burns and was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital (MMH), according to the post. The Red Cross was notified following the blaze.

This incident marks the fourth weekend fire that MFD has addressed since the beginning of the year. Last month, firefighters responded to three incidents, according to reports from Midland Times.
