The City of Midland has announced that residents can access the test results of its water supply on the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality's (TCEQ) Drinking Water Watch website.

According to a March 12 Facebook post by the city, daily checks are conducted on drinking water to ensure it is safe for consumption. The city adheres to TCEQ's rules and regulations in testing for bacteria and chemicals. Residents can view these results by visiting https://bit.ly/DrinkingWaterWatch.

The post explains that because the city follows TCEQ schedules, some results are posted monthly, while others may be posted quarterly or yearly. "This means you might see different dates for different results," the city said.

For those seeking additional information not available on the TCEQ website, records requests can be submitted at midlandtexas.gov/460/Open-Public-Records-Request. The city acknowledges that while posting a large amount of information regularly can be challenging, it remains committed to finding best practices to communicate with residents and provide timely information efficiently.
