The Midland Police Department (MPD) has acknowledged the achievements of two officers who have reached significant milestones within the Permian Basin law enforcement agency.
According to a February 14 Facebook post, MPD congratulated Sgt. Sean Strickland on his promotion within the department. Strickland, who has been with MPD for nearly six years, will now serve in the Field Operations Bureau/Patrol Division/Alpha Company. "His dedication and leadership make a difference every day, and we’re excited to see him step into this new role," the post said. "Congratulations, Sergeant Strickland!"
In addition, MPD welcomed new patrolman Christopher Lozano to its ranks. Lozano joined MPD from Del Rio in South Texas. According to a February 13 Facebook post, Lozano is a law enforcement veteran who served in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years. "We’re excited to have him on the team," the post said. "Welcome to Midland, Officer Lozano!"
