Midland Independent School District (ISD) recently held a ceremony to honor community stakeholders who are actively involved in the education of students.

The district expressed gratitude on Facebook to its education partners for their support of Midland ISD students. "Your generosity, dedication, and countless volunteer hours have a meaningful impact on student success across our district," the district wrote.

According to the district's website, this initiative is part of the Partners in Education program. The Midland Chamber of Commerce originally established this program, which is now operated by the Midland Education Foundation. The initiative encourages businesses to adopt a campus by supporting various needs such as teacher appreciation and student initiatives that are not covered by campus budgets.

"It's an honor to recognize and celebrate the contributions of Diamondback Energy, Atmos Energy, GCR Church of Christ, Mission Agape, and Belloc Energy Services & Transport," the district added. "Thank you for your commitment to education and for making a difference in the lives of our students!"
