The City of Midland recently acknowledged a group of employees for their long-term service, ranging from five to 45 years. This recognition was shared in a Facebook post last week.
According to the February 10 post, 24 employees celebrated significant milestones with the city. "Their commitment to our community is truly inspiring," the city said. "Thank you for all that you do."
Regina Stephenson, an employee in the General Services department, was honored for her 45 years of service. Clint Harmon and Michael "Steve" Baker were recognized for their 35 years of employment.
Stephen Hirst was the only city employee to have worked for 25 years. Jason Clare, Linda Ochoa, and William "Troy" Clabaugh celebrated two decades with the city. Ana Nevarez, Lorenzo Romero, Mirna Amaya, and Pei Ling Lin were each acknowledged for their ten-year tenure.
Thirteen employees received recognition for reaching the five-year milestone. They are Amee Olguin, Angelica Ruiz, Christopher Orona, Hermeregildo Garcia, Itzel Okumura, Jaden Cazares, Jessica Smithwick, Joerick Galindo, Lindon "Ray" Rice, Liz-Aimee Guevara, Priscilla Chavez, Ramon Najera, and Yvette Yanez.
