Bulldogs defensive lineman announces scholarship offer

Midland Bulldogs defensive lineman Darrion Mitchell announced on X that he has received another scholarship offer to play football at the collegiate level.

Mitchell said that he had a conversation with Oklahoma Panhandle State University's defensive backs coach Devonta Davis and assistant head coach Kenzie Kerns. He expressed gratitude by using the hashtag "All Glory to God." "After a great conversation with @DBCoachDavis @CoachKKernsI have received my 2nd offer. #opsu #Aggies," he wrote.

According to Hudl, a platform for athletes to showcase highlight film reels, Mitchell is 5'8" and weighs 261 pounds. He has played as a defensive end and nose guard for the Bulldogs and is part of the class of 2025.

In January, Mitchell revealed on X that he had received an offer from Houston-based Southwest Raiders Football. Community Christian College aims to empower student-athletes in their pursuit of collegiate-level sports.
