Midland airport sees rise in passenger numbers and parking revenue

Passenger numbers at Midland International Air & Space Port continued to rise in November. According to airport officials, the number of people boarding flights increased by 4.33%, reaching a total of 63,233 passengers compared to 60,600 in November 2023. This growth contributed to a 6% increase in passenger numbers for the first two months of the fiscal year, with more than 7,000 additional travelers recorded, bringing the total to 130,604.

Southwest Airlines accounted for the largest share of passengers at 46.3%. American Eagle and United Airlines followed with 26.7% and 23.11%, respectively. In addition to passenger growth, net parking revenues reached $677,511 in November, marking a rise of 3.17% from the previous year.

The fiscal year for Midland begins in October and ends in September of the following year.
