The Midland County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) recently arrested an individual in connection with an alleged child abuse case.
A Facebook post dated December 12 said that 18-year-old Devion Anthony Gomez was apprehended by the sheriff’s office on November 22.
According to the post, authorities were called to Midland Memorial Hospital (MMH) following a report of child abuse involving a four-year-old child. Investigators obtained an arrest warrant for injury to a child against Gomez.
The suspect was subsequently arrested and booked into the Midland County Central Detention Center. The post concludes with a commitment from Midland County Sheriff David Criner and MCSO to ensure community safety by arresting those who target women and children.
