Midland, Texas - Marvin Allen Morris, a beloved Army veteran, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2024. Born on March 26, 1948, in Austin, Texas, Marvin was a graduate of Lee High School in Midland, Texas. He attended Texas Tech University before dedicating over two decades to serving his country in the Army.

Marvin's love for the military was unwavering, and he cherished the time he spent in service until 1993. In 2002, he married the love of his life, Lu Morris, and returned to Midland. Described as a kind and gentle soul, Marvin made a positive impact on everyone he met. His devotion to his family was unmatched, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Marvin is survived by his wife Lu Morris, his sons Jason Morris and wife Anca, Mike Morris and wife Amanda, and Ricard Morris, his sister Virginia (Genny) Bynum, his nephews Ryan Reese and Thad Reese, along with numerous grandchildren, grandnephews, and grandnieces.
