MIDLAND, TX - Magdalena Zapata, 70, of Midland, TX, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Born on January 20, 1954, to Patricia Dominguez Acosta and Gregorio Monio Ramirez in Midland, Zapata worked as a housekeeper before becoming a cook at Manuel’s Country Store until her retirement in 2004. She then enjoyed her time as a stay-at-home grandmother until her passing.

Preceded in death by her son Gabriel Ramirez Romero and mother Patricia Dominguez Acosta, Zapata is survived by her sons George Albert Romero, Juan Diego Villa Romero Jr., daughter Anna Ramirez, siblings, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

A rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Willowbrook Funeral Home in Midland, TX. Funeral services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the same location with Deacon Victor Lopez officiating.
