Dan's passion for mechanics and involvement in dirt track racing defined much of his life. His willingness to help others, coupled with his entertaining stories, brought joy to those around him. Following the loss of his twin brother, Don, earlier in the year, Dan's battle with cancer ended tragically shortly after his diagnosis.
Preceded in death by his father, Douglas Lang, stepmother Marilyn Lang, brother-in-law Matt Erickson, brother-in-law Mel Basch, and sister-in-law Debbie Sheen, Dan leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. Survived by his mother, Norma Vandenbrink, stepfather Gilbert Vandenbrink, children Daniel John Lang II and Amber Danelle Pyle, grandchildren Jared Lang, Kambri Hodges, Kaden Hodges, and Addelynn Pyle, as well as several siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Remembered for his unwavering bond with his twin brother and his warm-hearted nature, Dan's presence in the lives of those he touched will be deeply missed, yet he finds solace in reuniting with his beloved twin, Don.
