Jose P. Sanchez, 73, of Midland, Passes Away Following Illness

Midland - Jose P. Sanchez, 73, of Midland, passed away on September 13th following a lengthy illness. Born on July 15, 1951 in Laredo, TX, Jose moved to Midland as a child and worked in the restaurant industry for over 30 years. He was known for his dedication to his faith at Our Lady of Guadalupe and his love for the Dallas Cowboys.

Jose is survived by his daughter, son, grandchildren, sisters, brother, and various nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, with a rosary to follow. The funeral mass is scheduled for Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish & Shrine, with burial to follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers for the service will include family members and friends.
