Jose "Pepe" Ibarra, 76, Passed Away in Lubbock

Jose "Pepe" Ibarra, 76, passed away on August 19, 2024, in Lubbock, Texas. Born on April 25, 1948 in La Mula Municipio de Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico, Pepe was known for his outgoing and cheerful nature. He worked in various fields throughout his life, eventually retiring after 20 years at Lydick-Hooks Roofing Co. in Midland, Texas.

Pepe is survived by his spouse, children, grandchildren, stepchildren, siblings, nieces, and nephews. The viewing will be held at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, with a prayer service at 7pm. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at the LGP Chapel followed by burial at Serenity Memorial Garden Cemetery.
