Ben Froese, Beloved Husband, Father, and Hard Worker, Passes Away at 53

Ben Froese, 53, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, in Lubbock, Texas, following a brief illness. Born on May 11, 1971, in Mexico to Bernhard and Katharina Froese, Ben was a dedicated and loyal worker who made his home in Stanton, Texas in the late 1980s. He worked for various farmers before spending the majority of his career with Theodore Wells.

On June 7, 1992, Ben was baptized at the Old Colony Mennonite Church in Seminole, where he also married his wife Anna Fehr on July 5, 1992. Together, they raised two sons, JJ and Billy.

Survivors include his wife, sons, four sisters, two brothers, and 44 nieces and nephews who will fondly remember him. Ben was preceded in death by his parents and one brother-in-law.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton. The family expresses appreciation to Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home and Gilbreath Funeral Home for their services. Condolences can be shared on the funeral home's website.
