New design renderings for the Legacy High School and Midland High School campuses have been released. The new educational environments are intended for students in grades 9 through 12. The designs include expanded core curriculum classrooms, common areas, and extracurricular facilities, all intended to "foster academic excellence and extracurricular success."

According to MISD, each high school will accommodate a core student capacity of 4,200, with an academic capacity of 3,800, providing ample space for student growth and program needs.

The construction projects are on track to be completed by Aug. 2028, with groundbreaking scheduled for the summer of 2025.
