The Texas Warrior Mudout is scheduled for October 5, 2024, at Rock the Desert in Midland. Proceeds from the event will support Be The Change Permian Basin (BTC), according to Haylee McBride, Executive Director.
Be The Change Permian Basin is a nonprofit organization to empower local youth through mentorship and leadership programs. This is the fifth year BTC will bring the Texas Warrior Mudout to the area.
The event will feature a 5k muddy obstacle course designed to challenge participants physically, and a Kids Krusade section, McBride told Midland Times.
The 5k course will offer 25 obstacles along an off-road trail at Rock the Desert, while the Kids Krusade will cover approximately 1.8 miles and have six obstacles. Participants will receive an event shirt and medal, enjoy live music, and have access to refreshments after the race, according to the Texas Warrior Mudout website.
Registration for the event is available through the official page at https://runsignup.com/Race/TX/Midland/TexasWarriorMudout.
