Texas Warrior Mudout to Benefit Local Youth Program in 2nd Annual Event
The Texas Warrior Mudout is scheduled for October 5, 2024, at Rock the Desert in Midland. Proceeds from the event will support Be The Change Permian Basin (BTC), according to Haylee McBride, Executive Director.

One thing I have noticed working with teenagers is there seems to be a major gap between teens and adults. I’m not just talking about age, but rather understanding. I’ve heard adults say, “kids are just too soft these days, they’re disrespectful” or I’ve heard kids say, “they just don’t care about me.” I’ve come to learn that the younger generation feels completely misunderstood.

Be the Change Welcomes New Executive Director Haylee McBride
Haylee McBride has been named the new Executive Director at Be the Change, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to teaching leadership and kindness in local school districts. According to McBride, she plans to share her knowledge with junior high and high school students through an adventure-based learning program that emphasizes compassion.
