Senior Life Midland invites community partners to an open house on July 15, 2024, to celebrate the new Fuhrman Vogel Center.
The event will take place at 3301 Sinclair Ave, Midland, from 1:30 to 3:30 PM. The open house will celebrate the new facility with local community partners.
Senior Life Midland, formerly known as Community & Senior Services, started in 1974 with the mission to cook, deliver, and feed homebound seniors. The original facility was a residential home donated by the Fuhrman-Vogel family, according to Executive Director Kathleen Kirwan-Haynie.
"Over the years, we have outgrown the original facility, kitchen, and the parking lot," said Kirwan-Haynie. "We’ve added eight additional senior programs that all require space."
The new Fuhrman Vogel Center took nearly two years from start to finish. The new space addresses the growing needs of Senior Life Midland and its expanding programs.
