MPD investigates crash of vehicle into residence

The Midland Police Department (MPD) is investigating an incident in which a vehicle crashed into a residence on the afternoon of June 14. The accident occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m. in the 2700 block of North Big Spring Street.

Images shared by MPD on Facebook show part of a white Range Rover protruding from a wall and another section embedded inside the residence.

According to the post, the SUV’s motorist was not injured, while the homeowner sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Permian Basin media outlets did not identify either the motorist or the homeowner.

MPD is working to determine the cause of the crash.
