Noontime fire in west Midland renders two RVs a complete loss

Midland firefighters responded to a fire on the west side of the city at noon on April 10, according to a Facebook post by the Midland Fire Department (MFD).

The MFD reported that the fire took place at a structure located in the 5700 block of North County Road 1284 at 12:10 p.m.

According to authorities in a press release on the City of Midland website, two recreational vehicles (RVs) were completely destroyed by the blaze. A third RV experienced heat damage, and a mobile home sustained fire damage.

The MFD said that there were no injuries resulting from the fire. An investigation into the cause of the incident is currently underway.
