MIDLAND, TX - Mex-Tex Family Fiesta is gearing up for its 37th annual event on Saturday, June 8th, at the new location, the Midland County Horseshoe. In preparation for the festivities, organizers are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help make the event a success.
Volunteers are needed for a variety of roles, including children's activities, entrance tickets, VIP section assistance, bar backs, cornhole tournament management, pageant support, set up and tear down, beer ticket distribution, and vendor assistance. The Mex-Tex Family Fiesta promises a day filled with entertainment and cultural celebration for the whole family. Festivities will commence at noon and continue until midnight, featuring live performances by renowned artists such as AJ Castillo, Ruben Ramos, and the Art Tigerina Band, with additional musical acts to be announced soon.
In addition to the musical lineup, attendees can look forward to a menudo and fajita cookoff, a cornhole tournament, and the inaugural Niña Hispana of the Permian Basin Pageant. Inside the horseshoe arena, a diverse array of vendors will offer food, arts, and crafts, while a dedicated children's area will provide engaging activities for young visitors.
The Mex-Tex Family Fiesta is made possible by the generous support of title sponsors Express Nursing and Trinity Personal Assistant Services. Admission to the daytime festivities is free for all, with advanced tickets available for the evening concert at a discounted rate of $20. Tickets will also be available for purchase on the day of the event for $25.
