Superintendent Howard: ‘We appreciate the Midland Exchange Club for recognizing and honoring eleven of our outstanding’ MISD students

The Exchange Club of Midland has commenced the education awards season by honoring Midland's most accomplished students at its annual awards luncheon. Dr. Stephanie Howard, Superintendent of Midland ISD, recently used a social media platform to acknowledge 11 students recognized for their academic excellence.

According to the social media post, an awards ceremony was held at The Petroleum Club on April 22. The honored students included Lillan Lujan for English, Keren Ortega for foreign language, Abbey Mueller for math, Paige Ptak for science and Ayden Castanon for social studies from Midland High School. Legacy High School's honorees were Zing Len in English, Rubi Baez in foreign language, Kenneth Green in math, Sarah Philley in science and Luke Van Husen in social studies. Biak Mang from Early College High School at Midland College was also recognized.

"Congratulations to these eleven outstanding Students from Midland Senior High, Legacy High School, and ECHS at Midland College!
