Roseland, a leading organizer of oil and gas events, will host the 10th Annual West Texas Oil and Gas Convention and Charity Cook-off at the Midland County Horseshoe Pavilion from March 27 to 28. The event is designed to bring together industry professionals while showcasing products, services, and equipment companies.
The convention is a mix of indoor and outdoor exhibits, a cook-off featuring oil and gas companies battling for a cause, product demonstrations, and heavy equipment displays. The Charity Cook-Off aims to raise funds for the IADC Permian Basin Chapter Scholarships, contributing to education, training, and safety practices within the oil and gas sector. The IADC Student Chapters offer students a pathway to engage with global IADC initiatives, connect with professionals in the drilling industry, and gain insights into the industry as a whole, as stated on the IADC website.
According to Roseland’s website, Roseland will provide exhibitors with exposure through marketing campaigns, social media posts, and inclusion in all programs distributed to exhibitors and attendees. They also eliminate freight handling charges at their conventions to serve as an “added bonus” of working with their company.
On March 27, the exhibit hall will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., featuring both the Charity Cook-Off and outdoor exhibits during the same hours. The day concludes with an after-party at Fair to Midland from 6 to 9 p.m. On March 28, the exhibit hall will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
"After meeting with IADC leadership, we at Roseland Oil & Gas recognized their selflessness and dedication to safe drilling practices,” General Manager of Roseland Oil and Gas Denny Pilcher told Midland Times. “IADC plans to accomplish this, in part, by providing scholarships for education, training, and accreditation. We are excited to partner with such an outstanding organization."
