DeLucas said while they didn’t play their best match as it was the first day at Ranchland, the golfers kept their head straight and kept competing.
“The team is hungry and are excited about the spring season,” DeLucas said. “They are determined to compete to their highest ability and are motivated to get better day in and day out. They are a great group of guys that are always trying to do better than the other. They stay out on the course way after practice has ended.”
DeLucas said this year’s team is a fun group that has grown close to one another both on and off the golf course.
“I am proud of how far they have come along not only in golf but as young men,” DeLucas said. "They take care of not only working on their game but they have excellent grades in the classroom.
