In this edition of "Adoptable Pet of the Week," introduced are two companions waiting for their “fur-ever” homes at the Midland Humane Coalition, Hoss and Butters.
Hoss is an 8-year-old Mastiff mix, weighing in at 137 lbs. Despite his imposing size, Hoss is a gentle giant who still needs to gain a bit more weight. With a youthful spirit, he delights in pleasing people and loves to showcase his tricks, including sitting and shaking paws. Hoss is a big baby who adores cuddling, is treat-motivated, and occasionally enjoys playing with toys. While he may need a little assistance getting into cars, Hoss would thrive in a calm home where he can embrace his inner couch potato, relishing in plenty of cuddles and kisses.
Butters is a 6-month-old Domestic Medium Hair with a striking blue and white coat. Originally from Midland Animal Services, Butters, along with his brother, was part of a rescue mission that saved three mamas with babies during late summer. Butters, sometimes a bit nervous in new surroundings, finds joy in napping and playing. He is particularly fond of attention and enjoys hanging out with his brother, making him a potential great fit for a home with a cat companion.
If you're considering adopting a pet, think about welcoming Hoss or Butters into your home. Visit the Midland Humane Coalition to meet these two companions and explore the possibility of giving them a loving home.
