What to watch: Midland Legacy is coming off a 32-31 loss where they were beaten by their arch rival Permian, who were underdogs coming into the game. Look for the Rebels to come with a fire lit under them after losing in a game where they led until the final moments.

The Rebels had 200 yards on the ground and were led by Damien Johnson’s two touchdowns. He is a big play threat, and he showed it with a score of 53-yards and a run of 40 yards, as well.

Watch for Marcus Davila to get going in the air against a San Angelo squad who are coming off a game where they gave up 71 points and 534 yards in the air. Last week he was 17-for-29 for 176 yards and three touchdowns.

San Angelo’s offense was on point, but the defense is a liability. They have given up 314 points this season in seven games, and only put 269 points on the board. Last week they took a 71-70 loss in overtime, but a good point for the Bobcats is that they nearly knocked of a very good Odessa squad.

San Angelo’s Christian English has thrown for 1,660 yards and completed 61% of his passes, while throwing for 13 touchdowns and two picks. He is also the team’s top rusher, with 924 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 12.3 yards per carry. Despite the loss against Odessa, the signal caller had a game to remember. Last week he ran for 239 yards and threw for 175 yards, while passing for one touchdown and rushing for six.

Jayvion Robinson had 198 yards on 22 carries with two scores. Colton Hill has 36 catches for 556 yards and three scores to lead the receiving core. He had seven catches for 101 yards last week.
