What to watch:

Senior Damien Johnson rushed for 201 yards and four touchdowns in the 39-31 win over Judson on Sept. 23, showing his dynamic offensive talent that he hopes to push the Rebels to victory over a top tier Tiger squad. Johnson has been the team’s top performer, with 50 carries for 460 yards and seven touchdowns. Fresh off a bye week, Johnson once again looks to be a jack of all trades, as he is integral to the team’s offense, defense and special teams. He is averaging 33 yards per kickoff return and last week he returned one for a 79 yard touchdown.

Johnson has primarily been a cornerback throughout his high school career, having earned all-district honors last year and having a fine 2023 campaign with a team high seven passes deflected to go with 13 tackles and a pick.

Marcos Davila and Aiden Serrano have proven to be a quality QB/WR duo this year, as the senior quarterback has connected with Serrano for 22 catches for 360 yards and two touchdowns. Davila has thrown for 1,369 yards with 10 touchdowns and eight interceptions, at a 56% clip.

Senior wide receiver Brex Stevens has a team high 415 receiving yards on 14 catches, with three going for touchdowns.

On defense watch out for Esus Roblado, who leads the Rebels with 49 tackles and nine QB hurries.

The Rebels have outscored opponents 216-151 on the year and they have scored at least 31 point in each contest.

Tiger quarterback Hudson Hutcheson has been outstanding with an 8:1 touchdown/interception ratio. He has 1,628 passing yards and 16 touchdown on the year. Hutcheson has also tallied 240 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Chase Campbell leads the team in touchdowns with seven, and has caught 29 passes for 501 yards. Leyton Stone leads the group with 34 catches and 543 yards, while scoring six touchdowns. Landon Hutcheson has 27 catches for 319 yards, and a touchdown.

On defense, Santiago Sanchez leads with 51 tackles in four games. Cayden Blakely had 46 tackles and a pair of sacks.
