Midland Independent School District (MISD) has recently announced an exciting partnership between Legacy High School and Midland High School, in collaboration with Rogers Ford Lincoln. The aim of this partnership is to highlight the significance of regular class attendance by offering students the chance to win brand-new vehicles. One lucky student from each school will have the opportunity to drive home a 2023 Ford Escape Active.

Starting from September 7th until May 10th, students will have the chance to earn raffle tickets based on their attendance each six-week period. Even students who occasionally miss a day are encouraged to participate, as their attendance can still be improved, increasing their chances of winning not only a new vehicle but also other incredible prizes.

To be eligible to claim any prize, students must demonstrate that they have attended school for at least 90% of the academic year. As a part of this partnership, Rogers Ford Lincoln, a long-standing supporter of the district since 1964, will cover the cost of the prized vehicle, including taxes and associated fees.

The main objective of this initiative is to emphasize the vital importance of regular school attendance in enhancing students' overall educational experience. It recognizes that consistent attendance is a crucial factor in student success and future prospects. By partnering with Rogers Ford Lincoln, the district hopes to motivate students to prioritize attendance and foster a culture of responsibility and learning.

This exciting contest not only serves as an incentive for students but also highlights the commitment of local businesses like Rogers Ford Lincoln to support education in the community. With this partnership, MISD and Rogers Ford Lincoln are working together to promote the value of attendance and encourage students to make the most of their educational opportunities.
