Midland 32, Amarillo 27
The Dick Bivens Stadium spectators last Friday night saw an almost tight bout between Midland and Amarillo.
The Bulldogs had a good start as Elijah McCoy easily gave Midland a 13-0 lead with his long runs of 29 and 32 yards. The Sandies answered following McCoy's second score on an 80-yard kickoff return for a touchdown by Bryson Brown narrowing Midland's lead.
Amarillo finally came alive during the third quarter when they made sure Midland would not be able to gain points, culminating on a 25-yard scoring pass from Jett Lopez to J.Q. Ervin, tallying a 19-14 score.
Both teams gained 13 more points in the fourth quarter but the game ended in favor of the Bulldogs as McCoy received a 3-yard touchdown pass from Tristan Love. McCoy had 210 yards and three touchdowns on 28 carries.

Legacy 48, Abilene 17
The Midland Legacy Rebels cruises past Abilene Eagles for their third win of the season.
The travel to Abilene was worth it starting the Friday game night with a 7-point lead. They had 27 unanswered points in the second half. Legacy senior Marcos Davila led the Rebels to victory with 32 passes for 347 yards, three touchdown passes, and two interceptions. The quarterback also had 6,653 career passing yards after completing the game.
Eagles quarterback Dylan Slack completed 17 of 28 passes for 302 yards, two TD passes, as well as an interception.
The Rebels were unstoppable in the third quarter, ending the match with a score of 48-7 in their favor.

Permian 43, Tascosa 6
The Permian Panthers defended its home turf well against the Tascosa Rebels with a dominating score of 43-6.
Zykivion "Biscuit" Bryant returned the opening kickoff 51 yards for a touchdown against the Amarillo Tascosa Friday at Ratliff Stadium. Isaac Herrera scored four touchdowns during Friday's homecoming game.
At the end of half time, MOJOS scored 29 having three unanswered touchdowns while Rebels remained scoreless.
The only chance the Rebel had to make a few scores was during a Panthers' turnover early in the third quarter. Their only touchdown the during game came on a punt return play as Jay Adams scooped up the loose ball and took it for three yards.
Herrera gave MOJOS their last touchdown of the night after a reception from quarterback Jakob Garcia.

Odessa 21, Keller 30
The delayed match between the visiting Bronchos and host, Keller Indians tallied a 30-21 score in favor of Keller High School. After more than 2 hours of delay due to lighting, the game eventually started late at night.
Odessa struggled in the first quarter. On the other hand, Keller's quarterback Beckham Robinson and running back Cameron Rayford started the game with an eight-play drive.
The Bronchos were back in the game with 98 yards to go when they had a nine-play drive coming from a 17-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Mikey Cota to wide receiver Ivan Carreon. They scored another touchdown and kept on fighting but the Indians eventually won with a final tally of 30-21.
