Based in Midland, Texas, the Hancock Advertising Group delivers marketing and advertising solutions, according to the company's website. The company has been employing experts and state-of-the-art technology to provide services to clients for 30 years.
Savannah Alvarado, President of Hancock Advertising Group and Midland native, started as an employee of the company and dreamed of some day running her own agency. During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, she saw an opportunity to make her dream come true and purchased the agency from the previous owner. Since then, the company has grown by 50% in terms of revenue and employees and works to provide career paths for women in Midland that aren't in the oil and gas industry.
"Those opportunities are limited and I wanted to continue to provide pathways for success," Alvarado told Midland Times.
According to Alvarado, Hancock Advertising works with businesses to help fulfill their marketing and advertising needs. She explained that its typically more cost and time effective to hire an agency instead of a full-time employee.
"We provide all planning and implementation of marketing strategies," Alvarado said. "From graphic and web design to promotional products. We do all branding and marketing."
Hancock Advertising engages with the local community to build positive relationships. The company helps numerous Midland non-profits to help plan and execute events. In 2022 and 2023, the company partnered with the American Cancer Society and this Fall, Hancock Advertising will be working with Bynum School.
Alvarado is optimistic and projects continued growth for the company.
"We look to continue to improve and perfect our quality of business and services while providing lasting career paths for women in Midland," Alvarado said.
