USTA: Bobby Warren of Midland ranks 2,411th in Boys’ 14 combined points bracket in week ending Sept. 10

Bobby Warren of Midland finished 2,411th in the United States Tennis Association’s Boys’ 14 bracket in the week ending Sept. 10.

They earned zero points to finish the week with 270 total points.

Their ranking fell by 26 from the week before.

There are 52 USTA players from Midland across all age categories.

Players earn points per round in tournaments, winning higher points the further into a tournament they advance.

Jarett Cascino of New York Tennis Magazine says tennis is one of the most competitive youth sports.

“There is always someone better than you on any given day, even if you are the number one player in the world!” he said.
