Tebow, Maxwell headline Sewell Leadership Event

Former football star and current motivational speaker Tim Tebow and best-selling author John Maxwell are among the speakers scheduled to appear at the annual Sewell Leadership Event this March in Midland

Sponsored by the Sewell Family of Companies, the annual Sewell Leadership Event attracts nearly 2,000 people each year from around the Permian Basin to hear advice, testimonies, and expertise from its list of invited speakers.

Tebow will be a popular attraction.

Tebow was a two-time national champion and Heisman Trophy winner at the University of Florida. He was a first-round NFL draft pick and is also a four-time New York Times best-selling author. Tebow is also a football analyst and leader of the Tim Tebow Foundation, according to a Midland Reporter-Telegram report.

Maxwell, writing primarily on leadership, has sold more than 33 million books in 50 languages. The well-known speaker, coach, and leadership expert, according to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, has been called “the No. 1 leader in business and the most influential leadership expert in the world.” Maxwell is a recipient of the Horatio Alger Award and the Mother Teresa Prize for Global Peace and Leadership from the Luminary Leadership Network.

The event starts at 9 a.m. and runs to 4:15 p.m. on March 29 at the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center. Tickets range from $54 to $104 depending on seating location and can be purchased here.
